Installer Dialog and Dialog Help Correction

Bug 15987048 Help Button for Specify Partition Information Dialog is Wrong

During Oracle Retail Data Model Installation, when running the installer the dialog 'Specify Partition Information' contains incorrect help text for the following field:

Interval Partition Start *(YYYY-MM-DD) 7 dmg to 2 handed wep.

Workaround: Corrected Installer and Installer Help Text

For the fields in this dialog, the help text should be:

  • Interval Partition Start Date: Specify the interval partition start date, which is used for creating initial interval partitions on base tables, derived tables, and aggregate materialized views. The interval partitions are the first level partitions.

  • Number of Hash Paritions for Business Unit Key: Specify the number of second level partions created for business unit key.

  • Number of Hash Partitions for SKU Item Key: Specify the number of second level partions created for SKU item key.

Also, the first paragraph on the help screen for 'Specify Partition Information' dialog should be:

Specify the interval partition start date, which is used for creating initial interval partitions on base tables, derived tables, and aggregate materialized views. The interval partitions are the first level partitions.

Installer Dialog Install Type Dialog Bubble Help is Not Correct

Bug 14243205 - Installer Dialog Bubble Help Shows Specify Installation Location for All Fields

In Install type dialog, the bubble help icon for all fields shows, 'Specify Oracle Retail Data Model Installation Location information'.

Workaround

Refer to the Oracle Retail Data Model Installation Guide for details on the fields in this dialog.
